ThunderPlus Powers Ahead with MegaWatt Ultra Fast Charging Hub Near Bangalore Airport

ThunderPlus, India’s fastest-growing EV charging company, has supercharged the nation’s EV ecosystem with the launch of its MegaWatt Ultra Fast Charging Hub in Mutthugadahalli, just minutes from Bangalore International Airport.

With a massive capacity of up to 1 MW, the cutting-edge facility offers a comprehensive suite of charging options from 7.4 kW AC chargers to 240 kW DC ultra-fast chargers, making it one of the most advanced EV charging destinations in India.

The hub, spread over 28,000 square feet, is built to handle scale and speed. It can host more than 100 cars for park-and-charge facilities and over 10 buses at once, positioning itself as the go-to destination for fleet operators, long-haul bus services, cargo transporters, and everyday EV drivers. Its strategic location near the airport also makes it a critical link between Bangalore and India’s rapidly expanding EV-ready highways, offering seamless connectivity for intercity travel.

The Bangalore hub follows ThunderPlus’s successful 1 MW facility in Hyderabad and sets the stage for its upcoming 1 MW hub in Kurnool. Together, these hubs fully electrify the Hyderabad–Bangalore Highway, marking a major leap toward a future where EVs can travel long distances without range anxiety.
