Trinasolar has strengthened its presence in the Middle East by supporting two landmark utility-scale solar projects in partnership with ACWA Power in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The projects mark a significant step forward in advancing large-scale renewable energy deployment in desert environments, reinforcing the region’s transition toward a low-carbon energy future.
Currently under construction, the 1.15 GW Haden solar project is powered by Trinasolar’s advanced Vertex N series modules, engineered to deliver high efficiency and reliable performance even under extreme heat and sand-laden conditions. The deployment highlights the growing demand for high-performance photovoltaic solutions tailored to challenging climatic environments.
In addition, the 900 MW Al Khushaybi solar project is being equipped with Trinasolar’s Vanguard 1P smart tracking systems. These trackers are manufactured at the company’s facility in Jeddah, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabia’s local content requirements while strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities. The localized production strategy reflects Trinasolar’s long-term commitment to supporting regional industrial development alongside clean energy expansion.
Through technological innovation, efficient project execution, and localized manufacturing, Trinasolar continues to build a sustainable and technology-driven energy ecosystem across the Middle East. The collaboration with ACWA Power underscores the growing scale of renewable investments in Saudi Arabia and reinforces the country’s ambition to accelerate its green energy transformation.
