In a major stride toward smarter and more sustainable energy solutions, Vsole Solar has unveiled STORIO, a next-generation indoor Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System (ESS) designed to transform the way businesses manage power. The launch marks a significant step in Vsole’s mission to merge innovation with environmental responsibility.

STORIO represents a leap forward in intelligent energy management. The system seamlessly integrates an Energy Management System (EMS), Power Conversion System (PCS), and Battery Management System (BMS) into one compact, modular, and scalable unit. It has been engineered to think and act like an intelligent energy companion—one that doesn’t just store power, but intuitively determines when to store and when to release it. This ensures optimum efficiency, cost savings, and reliability for modern facilities.

Each STORIO unit offers an energy capacity of 214.5 kWh, with about 193 kWh usable, and runs on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries known for their superior safety, long lifespan, and stability. The modular design allows scalability up to 2 MW / 4.3 MWh, enabling businesses to start small and expand according to their energy needs. Designed to operate efficiently between -20°C to 55°C and up to 3000 meters altitude, STORIO is suitable for diverse Indian climatic conditions and industrial environments.

The system’s Power Conversion System acts as the heart of the operation, converting solar DC to AC for grid or load use and managing the reverse flow for charging. Its efficiency, rated at 100 kW with less than 3% harmonic distortion, ensures clean and stable power. The Static Transfer Switch (STS) enables seamless transition between solar, battery, and grid power within milliseconds, maintaining uninterrupted energy flow during switching or inverter failures. Furthermore, the Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) continuously optimizes the solar input with up to 99% efficiency, maximizing energy yield.

STORIO’s integration with solar systems enables businesses to store excess solar energy during the day and utilize it during non-sunlight hours or grid outages, ensuring round-the-clock renewable energy availability. Its cloud-based intelligent control system offers real-time monitoring, remote upgrades, and smart analytics for enhanced performance management. The system is also equipped with aerosol fire suppression technology, ensuring top-tier safety standards.
