Prozeal Green Energy has announced that the company has secured a notification of award (NoA) worth about INR 2,000 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the development of 250 MW of captive inter-state transmission system (ISTS)-connected wind power projects in India.
The project will supply captive renewable power to ONGC, supporting the state-owned energy major’s efforts to increase the share of clean energy in its operations and reduce its carbon footprint.
“For one of the nation’s energy giants to entrust Prozeal with its captive renewable ambitions is a powerful endorsement of our engineering depth, execution capability, and the trust we’ve built across the sector,” stated the company.
Once commissioned, the 250 MW wind portfolio will help generate clean electricity for ONGC’s captive consumption and advance the company’s sustainability goals.
Prozeal Green Energy positions itself as an end-to-end renewable solutions provider, delivering turnkey EPC services for solar projects with a strong focus on the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment.
Alongside executing standalone solar EPC assignments, the company is strategically prioritising its ‘plug-and-play’ solar park model, which streamlines project delivery from concept and land acquisition to commissioning, while also facilitating regulatory approvals and grid connectivity. This integrated approach is backed by its capabilities in design optimisation, execution, and procurement.
