Avaada Group, one of India’s leading clean energy conglomerates, showcased its leadership and strategic commitment to India’s renewable energy transition at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit (Bharat RE Summit) 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from November 2–5.
Inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Bharat RE Summit brought together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, technology providers and international stakeholders at a pivotal moment for the global energy sector. As geopolitical volatility, disruptions in global energy supply chains and growing concerns around energy security reshape the global economic landscape, the summit provided an important platform for India to align policy, capital, technology and industry to meet rising energy demand, advance its ambitious climate commitments, reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels and accelerate the transition towards resilient, affordable and sustainable energy systems.
Avaada Group’s participation reflects its growing role in shaping the renewable energy ecosystem, with its leadership engaging in discussions spanning investment opportunities, green hydrogen, clean technology innovation, industrial decarbonisation, energy storage and the emerging energy requirements of India’s digital economy.
The summit also marked a significant moment for the company as Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Group’s pavilion, where Chairman, Mr. Vineet Mittal shared Avaada’s vision of integrating Sand to Molecules to Super Intelligence. The interaction underscored the alignment between the Prime Minister’s vision of an energy-secure, self-reliant and sustainable India and Avaada’s commitment to accelerating the clean energy transition through renewable power, advanced solar manufacturing, green hydrogen and emerging clean technologies.
Commenting on the significance of the summit and the evolving global energy landscape, Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairman, Avaada Group, said “Energy security is now inseparable from economic security and national competitiveness. Today’s geopolitical disruptions demand energy systems that are resilient, diversified and less exposed to external shocks. For decades, energy security meant control of oil and gas reserves. The coming decades will belong to those who can harness, store and intelligently manage energy from nature. With abundant sun and wind, a large domestic market and strong entrepreneurial capability, India can make the energy transition a strategic pillar of growth, competitiveness and technological leadership, not just a climate imperative.”
“The next phase must go beyond capacity addition to an integrated ecosystem spanning manufacturing, storage, green molecules, transmission, flexible power and financing. Bharat RE Summit turns these priorities into actionable partnerships. At Avaada, we remain committed to building solutions that are sustainable, reliable, scalable and competitive.”
