Bijliride, an EV mobility and infrastructure platform, has partnered with Swiggy and Zomato to provide their delivery partners access to electric two-wheelers through its rental platform. With more than 5,500 EVs deployed, Bijliride is enabling riders to access electric vehicles without the upfront cost of ownership, supported by battery swapping, battery delivery, and 24/7 on-road assistance.
From an enterprise perspective, the partnership helps address the vehicle-access and uptime challenges faced by delivery platforms. By enabling delivery partners to access EVs without purchasing a vehicle, Bijliride can help create a larger pool of riders with access to electric mobility, while its battery support and on-road assistance infrastructure helps reduce vehicle downtime during delivery operations. The company currently has an operational presence across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
For riders, Bijliride’s rental model reduces the financial barrier to switching to an EV by removing the need for a significant upfront vehicle purchase. Riders also have access to battery swapping, doorstep battery delivery and 24/7 roadside assistance, helping address concerns around charging, battery availability, maintenance and breakdowns. Bijliride also provides rider onboarding covering EV operation, battery swapping or charging, safe riding practices and access to support.

Bijliride has facilitated more than 35,000 battery swaps and 9,000 battery deliveries, with over 200,000 app downloads to date. Its larger ambition is to build a full-stack mobility platform combining EV rentals, fleet management, battery infrastructure, technology and on-ground support for India’s growing gig economy.
