KPI Green Energy Limited has received a work order worth approximately ₹2,025 crore from NACOF Oorja Private Limited (NOPL), a subsidiary of NACOF, for the turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a 500 MW / 550 MWp solar photovoltaic power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The project is part of the 5,000 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Park being developed by NOPL at Village Dantoor, Tehsil Khajuwala, District Bikaner. Under the work order, KPI Green Energy will undertake the complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar plant.
The scope of work includes civil works, PV modules, module mounting structures, inverters, inverter transformers, HT switchgear and associated electrical systems. It also covers the 33 kV transmission line, evacuation bay, and SCADA and monitoring systems. The EPC project is scheduled for completion within 12 months from the handing over of the project site.
According to the company, the new order follows a 500 MW / 550 MWp solar balance-of-system (BOS) package awarded by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited at Bikaner earlier this year. The latest contract further strengthens KPI Green Energy’s presence in Rajasthan and adds to its EPC order book, providing revenue visibility over the coming year.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and is structured as a turnkey EPC contract. The aggregate project size is 500 MW / 550 MWp, with the consideration of approximately ₹2,025 crore inclusive of taxes and GST. The company has also disclosed that the contract does not involve any interest of its promoter or promoter group in the awarding entity and does not fall under related-party transactions.
