Mr. RAM ANUJ VERMA Founder-CEO, RAVC

Q. Can you share your perspective on RAVC’s core business segments such as EPC, IPP, Rooftop, and O&M, and where do you see the greatest potential for impact or growth within these areas?

At RAVC, our core business segments are strategically positioned to address India’s diverse energy needs.

Our EPC development projects represent our highest growth potential, especially given our current active portfolio of more than 275MW across various regions. This is in addition to more than 360MW that we have already delivered.

Rooftop Solar offers tremendous scalability potential across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Our systems ranging from KW to MW, serve diverse clients across multiple states in India.

Our O&M services differentiated by our excellent uptime track record, ensures a healthy and sustained revenue stream.

For RAVC, the greatest growth potential lies in the EPC segment due to India’s 500GW renewable energy target by 2030.

Rooftop Solar offers us immediate scalability given the increasing ESG commitments and the solar revolution sweeping through every town of India.

Q. As India accelerates its energy transition, how can the strategic development of solar micro-grids infrastructure be effectively aligned to support this shift?

As we enter our 5th year, RAVC is strategically expanding its IPP (Independent Power Producer) footprint. Our vision is to create comprehensive energy ecosystems. Our engineering capabilities position us well to deploy these integrated solutions at scale.

The alignment is critical because solar technology addresses three fundamental challenges:
decentralized self-sufficiency of power, reduction in carbon intensity, and increased energy access to all segments of the economy.

Q. How has the company integrated solar solutions, especially for real-time energy monitoring and remote diagnostics?

RAVC has embraced digital transformation through several key technologies:
Real-Time Monitoring Systems

  • 24/7 remote monitoring via centralized dashboards
  • Performance Ratio (PR) tracking with baseline
    comparisons
  • Data logging at both string and inverter levels

Advanced Diagnostics

  • Thermal scanning using infrared cameras for hotspot identification
  • Integration with SCADA and Remote Control Units (RCUs)
  • AI-based energy yield forecasting for performance optimization

Operational Excellence

  • Ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution
  • Performance-linked service contracts with SLA monitoring
  • Drone-based inspection capabilities for large installations
  • Waterless cleaning systems for groundmount facilities

These technologies ensure our systems deliver 82-85% Performance Ratio while maintaining maximum uptime. Our digital integration allows us to provide comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual technical reports covering generation trends, fault logs, and component degradation metrics.

Q. Could you highlight some notable flagship or high impact projects RAVC has executed over the past 2–3 years, particularly those that demonstrate innovation, scale, or strategic importance?
