NTPC Declares Commercial Operation of 50 MW Capacity at Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-II in Gujarat

NTPC Limited has announced the declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the first part capacity of 50 MW from its 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase-II located in Gujarat, effective from February 26, 2026, as per regulatory disclosures made to stock exchanges

The project is being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Limited, through NTPC Green Energy Limited. The commissioning marks a key milestone in NTPC’s renewable energy expansion strategy, strengthening its wind energy portfolio in western India

With the commissioning of this 50 MW capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 88,182 MW, while its commercial capacity now stands at 87,102 MW. Separately, the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group’s commercial capacity has reached 9,151.08 MW, and its total installed capacity has risen to 9,201.08 MW following the addition of the newly operational capacity
